Don't forget to pick up your pumpkins from the Book Character decorating contest by Friday. Some of them are ripening fast! Haha! Also, just a reminder that the book Fair is still open! We still have tons of stuff- one of the biggest book fairs that we have ever had! We will stay open until Friday at 12:00. :-)
We had so much fun with our Pumpkin Book Character decorating contest. Winners will be announced tomorrow morning, and those students will receive Book Fair Bucks to spend at the book fair. Thank you again to everyone who participated. Also, students are welcome to take their pumpkin back home. If it is not possible to take them on the bus, please plan on picking them up by Friday. We already have a few (real) pumpkins that are a bit ripe. Haha! We will do our best to try to keep them in the library until Friday, but please understand if the situation worsens and we are unable to do so. Pumpkins not picked up by Friday will need to be recycled as we will then be getting ready for our next theme. Thank you for your support! We love you all!
Next week we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week! Please see the attached flier for our dress up days. Also, Friday, October 31st, we will be having our Career Day. Please have fun and dress up as your future career! On October 31st (Career Day), we will be having a menu change for lunch. The options will be Ham on bun or Turkey on bun with sides of fritos, carrots and dip or apples, and cookie with their choice of milk.

Don't forget to turn in your pumpkins for the Pumpkin Decorating contest. It must be decorated to look like your favorite book character, and follow the rules listed to be eligible to win. They are due this Wednesday, October 22nd to the library. Have fun and be creative!
Don't forget to grab a cake or cookies (or both) for the Fall Festival tomorrow night. We are currently only scheduled for about half the items we need. Thank you to those who have already donated or reached out to let me know that they will be donating. We really appreciate it; this event will really help us earn money for Reading Incentives and Prizes.
