Today has been an amazing day and I have appreciated every student, staff, and families telling me happy birthday. I have appreciated all the handmade cards, singing, surprises (even the random confetti poppers), extra hugs, smiles, and everyone dressing in black to celebrate my up and coming 40th birthday! So thank you so much for making my day extra special! I also want to take this time to inform all families that this morning | did accept to be Heartland's new Principal; their principal will be retiring soon. I wish I could tell everyone in person but that is impossible due to the given timeline. However, I did ask if I could inform staff and send a message out to my families prior to the public announcement. I have truly loved my time at Rineyville Elementary and I will always cherish the memories I have made here. I will not fully transition to Heartland until Sept 1st. I know Rineyville will continue to do great things and you will see me still supporting the Rockets. Love you all and hope everyone has a great weekend.

We just received word that bus 2201 is running behind schedule; therefore, if your child rides bus 2201, they will also be delayed getting home this afternoon!

If a student does not qualify for free and reduced lunch this school year, funds may be added to each student's My School Bucks Account.

HCS Child Nutrition has created this flyer to help families set up an account. Cash and checks will still be allowed to add money to the child's lunch account.
