Summer reading challenge sheets are coming home with your child. This is to encourage a bit of reading this summer. They can return them at the beginning of next school year (due date: August 14, 2026) and win a prize!

Parents, if you are coming for awards today please take a look at the tables on the sidewalk outside the gym. We are putting the lost and found jackets out there. Please look and claim your child's jacket!!
For 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade dance goers....please enter through the doors in the bus parking lot side. There you will sign in your child. Please have your dance ticket ready! Don't forget the dance is from 5:30-7:00. Pick up at the same doors you enter.

Don't forget tomorrow, May 15th, is the last day to preregister for the awards ceremonies/graduations next week. Preregistration forms were sent home two weeks ago. A digital copy of the forms are attached. If you have misplaced your form, you may print the appropriate form and send in with your child tomorrow.

Car Rider line (located in the back of the school) is open from 7:03-7:25 am.
From 7:25-7:30, please walk your student to the front office door. You do NOT have to sign them in; just need to walk them to the door to make sure they make it safely in the school.
After 7:30, you must walk your child to the front office and sign in your child. They will be given a tardy slip.

Please check your child's folders/book-bags tonight and tomorrow. Teachers will be sending home some important paperwork concerning award ceremonies and a CEP letter from the district. There is also a May calendar.

It is time for SBDM Committee nominations. If you are interested in serving our school on the Site Based Decision Making Committee, please reach out to your child's teacher or e-mail Mrs. Farley at stephanie.farley@hardin.kyschools.us
Please note, nominees are required to be a legal guardian of a student who will be attending Rineyville Elementary School in the academic year 2026-2027. Meetings for the site-based council will occur monthly (with google meet option) Elections will be held on Monday, May 18th and Wednesday, May 20th during school ceremonies held in the gym.
